2022 Model Asus ROG Flow Z13 Full Spec
Asus released their ROG Flow series 2nd laptop ROG Flow Z13 with the latest 12th gen processor. Asus ROG Flow Z13 Price in Bangladesh and all other details are here. Check out our website for the latest update. Asus first introduce their ROG Flow series in mid 2021 and it was a great evaluation in their gaming series. Check our previous ROG Flow x13 collection and prices from here.
Display
The 13.4-inch 16:10 IPS touchscreen display on the ROG Flow Z13 may be adjusted at 120 Hz FHD (1920 x 1200 pixels) or 60 Hz 4K (3840 x 2400 pixels).
We were impressed with the bright, vibrant 120Hz FHD screen quality of last year’s ROG Flow X13 model.
Gaming
Thus, while this option provides a good viewing experience at 60 hertz, if you plan to spend a lot of time gaming on this device, you’re likely to choose the 120 hertz 1080p FHD version of this display.
Therefore, you have that option. I really appreciate how the RGB in the rear gives it a bit more personality; it’s not all business all the time; it’s something a little bit more unique; it feels a little bit more.
Introducing the Surface for gamers.
The Asus ROG Flow Z13 is a larger, more angular sister of the Surface. Almost every inch of this gaming laptop is reminiscent of Microsoft’s renowned two-in-one, from the detachable keyboard cover to the adjustable kickstand for optimal viewing angles.
Having said that, the ROG Flow Z13 differentiates itself from other detachable by being primarily a gaming computer. We particularly like the little glass on the rear that reveals the laptop’s RGB-lit internals, and the entire PC is etched with the futuristic-looking etchings we’ve come to expect from a ROG item.
The Flow Z13’s keyboard felt similar to the latest ROG Zephyrus laptops we’ve tried, with deep travel and snappy feedback that made typing for extended periods of time comfortable. Its keys may glow in a variety of colors thanks to the preloaded Asus Armory Crate software, and the entire thing magnetically attaches and detaches just like a Surface keyboard. The real kicker, though, is that, unlike Microsoft’s Type Cover keyboard, the Flow Z13 keyboard is included with the tablet.
The Flow Z13’s tablet section is somewhat thick (0.7 inches) and quite hefty (3.2 pounds), especially when used with a keyboard on your lap. However, given that this contraption packs an Nvidia RTX 3050 Ti — an entry-level graphics processor capable of handling 1080p gaming rather well — onto what is essentially a tablet, we can overlook the added weight.
Ports
Asus’s hybrid PC also comes equipped with the essentials in terms of connectivity, including two USB-C ports, a microSD card reader, an HDMI 2.0 port, and a USB-A port for the majority of your controllers and older peripherals. Additionally, it is compatible with Asus’s external ROG XG graphics card dock, which transforms the laptop into a far more powerful gaming PC equipped with up to a top-of-the-line RTX 3080. Thus, while the Flow Z13 is primarily designed for 1080p gaming on its own, attaching a ROG XG enables 4K gaming on recent titles such as Cyberpunk 2077 or Guardians of the Galaxy.
Performance
The ROG Flow Z13 appears to perform similarly to last year’s model in terms of performance. As with the X13, the Z13 will be available with up to 16GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD. You can purchase models equipped with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti laptop GPU, or you can upgrade to an RTX 3080 by connecting it to the XG Mobile external GPU box (optional).
In comparison to last year’s model, the ROG Flow Z13 will be configurable with the newest 12th generation Intel processors, up to and including the Core i9-12900H. This is a significant boost over the AMD Ryzen 9 5000 series processor that powered the Asus ROG Flow X13 we tested last year, and we’re happy to have a fresh Flow Z13 to test to see how different this CPU upgrade is. accomplished while playing.
